How It Works

Sniff & Pick Your Oils
Perfume is composed of top, middle, and base notes.
Top notes are light and fresh and introduce a fragrance (think citruses and spices). You’ll smell them first — and they’ll also be the first to fade, usually within 15-30 minutes.
Middle notes are more complex and full-bodied (think florals and woods). They make up the heart of the perfume and last anywhere from 45 minutes to two hours.
Base notes support the whole perfume. They are usually heavy and deep (think resinous woods, musks, and ambers). And are muted but persistent, lasting up to several hours.
You’ll pick one to two of each note to make a well-rounded blend.
